Luscious listing of the week I

Every week, I’m highlighting Sacramento’s tastiest listing. It might be the best deal in town or it might have the most wallpaper in the history of the MLS – it’s just got to be cool, according to me.

Since last Monday, Sacramento saw over 35 new listings. Colonial Village had the lowest entry price with 4430 Orinda Way at $250,000 and East Sacramento had highest list price with 1001 45th Street at $2,195,00. Both are fun to check-out, depending on your mood.

Today’s luscious listing is 1725 40th Street, listed at $495,000. It’s a 2-bedroom, 2-bath 1,118 square foot bungalow with a little yard and deck. It’s a few houses down from 1628 40th Street which I sold a month ago for $850,000. I know – my listing and the luscious listing are opposites in size, condition and design, so apples and oranges, but hold on.

The luscious listing is offered at less than $500,000 on one of the chicest, most understated, streets in East Sacramento. It is also livable, not an “investor special” which is real-estate speak for gut job. Yes you’ll want to eventually bring your DIY game, but who cares? You’ll be waking up on 40th and P and safe social strolling to Coffee Works, like a boss. You’ll also be marinating in the fact that you got into East Sac for under $500k. So tasty.
