Luscious listing of the week III
I am obsessed with modern houses in old cities. A streamlined house lets you live a funky life without the funk of timeworn real estate. Out of this week’s over 50 new Sacramento listings (highest since quarantine-yay), this brownstone at 2018 T Street sizzles with that eclectic vibe. So luscious.
The tasty T Street offering is between 20th and 21st, close to the Vizcaya estate and Joan Didion’s childhood home (Where I Was From is required reading for Sacramento people btw). At 2,800 square feet, the property is huge (by my citified standards), but not unmanageable huge. The shared living space, three bedrooms, two full baths, and two half baths are spread out on three floors, a refreshing alternative to the open concepts we see all the time.
The asking price is $995,000 which is actually awesome when you consider what you get (and when you consider what a comparable house would cost in “midtown” San Francisco). My Coldwell Banker colleague, Mike Huetter, who is the listing agent, describes the goodies:
…gourmet kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appliances and a butcher block island with an outdoor patio area perfect for barbecuing just a step away…upstairs Master-Suite [where you can] look up at the stars on your cozy balcony just off the loft. Many upgrades throughout include, Anderson wood windows, hardwood floors, Solar, tankless water heater, Graber shutters … 2-car garage.
I’m here if you want talk about this luscious listing, or any listing, any time, any day.
