Enlightenment and the 2021 Sacramento market
My next listing, available for showings January 20th, embodies the spirit of stay-at-home joy. In 2020, the owner transformed an already delightful three-bedroom, two-bath Tahoe Park bungalow into a serene refuge. A new “barn” style front fence, and voice activated Smart Home security system, gave the owner and side-kick Daisy [pictured] the freedom to enjoy home time securely and safely. Inside, bright neutral paint, rejuvenated stained wood floors and finishes like glass doorknobs in every room promote a clean, clear energy.
Career demands called my client out-of-state just as she finished her updates. She is mindfully selling her property, which is good news for Sacramento buyers, but also touchstone of our times.
Later in the month, I will roll-out a four-bedroom, three-bath tri-level with a new fenced pool in College Greens one block from the American River. This fun and roomy property will be a great fit for families adapting to living at home 24/7. The sellers, likewise, are looking for a country setting, hopefully with an acre, so children can run and run and run…between “classes.”
Also coming soon, newly built three-bedroom condo right by Kaiser Hospital in the Arden area. It has a minimalist, urban vibe with new everything and attached garage and sunny balcony. Despite her love for her condo, my client awakened to the truth that she wants a garden in which to grow vegetables, to putter, and to daydream.
The new homes I’ll be rolling out in 2021 and the custom searches I create for my buyers testify to the ways we are reimagining our lives. That we are already rolling-up our sleeves and doing it together has made this a happy new year indeed.
